Hasta istismarı

Hasta istismarı veya ihmali, hastaya yapılan acı, ızdırap veya zarara neden olan mantıksız ve başarısız uygulamalardır. Hastaya yapılan fiziksel veya cinsel saldırıları, gerekli gıda, fiziksel bakım ve tıbbi yardım mahrumiyeti de içerir. Hastanelerde, bakım evlerinde, kliniklerde ve ev ziyaretlerinde meydana gelebilir.
